About Us

Our Story

The Haven was founded by Board President, Mark LeGreve. Over four years ago, Mark expressed passion on doing something about men’s homelessness in Manitowoc County. Mark, along with countless others, put a plan together. Through their hard work and perseverance, The Haven of Manitowoc County opened its doors on April 15, 2014.

The Haven of Manitowoc County provides shelter for homeless men for up to 90 days and offers a program to help them regain their independence. Our program consists of Case Management, Resource Referrals, and Life Skills groups. Our goal is to help men that reside at The Haven gain self-sufficiency by securing employment, saving money, and finding adequate housing. We are staffed year-round.
